Kia Motors of America (KMA) just announced that the company has pledged up to $200,000 to the American Red Cross to help with relief efforts in the areas recently affected by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma. On top of that, Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia (KMMG) is pledging $100,000 to the American Red Cross to assist with relief efforts.

It was recently announced that the Kia Sportage SUV had earned a 2017 Ideal Vehicle Award (IVA) from AutoPacific, scoring top marks in the "Compact Crossover SUV" segment. This is the second AutoPacific award the Kia Sportage has earned this summer, as it previously took home a Vehicle Satistfaction Award (VSA).
