2023 Kia Niro EV
 We love the redesigned elements of the new 2023 Kia Niro EV. What's not to love about this EV's unique styling and snazzy interior? We also appreciate what hasn't changed, such as the 201-hp electric motor that sends power to the front wheel and 64.8-kWh battery that provides a range of 253 miles that can get up to an 80% charge in less than an hour with a fast-charging DC charger. For all these reasons, we're excited about the arrival of this new EV, even as specific trim levels and pricing have yet to be announced.
Niro Hybrid Range and Safety
The 2023 Niro hybrid model is expected to deliver 53 mpg combined. Kia has also improved the driving range of the Kiro EV which was 239 miles but is now 253. The standard driver-assistance technology offered for 2023 is also impressive. Those safety features include lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist, forward-collision warning and automated emergency braking, and available adaptive cruise control that includes stop-and-go technology. Also included is Kia's limited warranty which covers five years or 60,000 miles plus a powertrain warranty covering 10 years or 100,000 miles.
2023 Kia Niro EV Interior
If you were fortunate enough to get a glimpse of the Kia Niro EV at the 2022 Chicago Auto Show then you know what we're talking about when we say this EV has got the goods. The interior is almost unrecognizable from the previous version with large door pockets in the door panels and super useful cubbies located in the center console. The head-up display is very easy to see and the steering wheel features a striking two-spoke design. We also appreciate the 10.3-inch touchscreen that's used to access an amazing infotainment system that includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Opt for a Harman/Kardon stereo and wireless charging and improve your driving experience. The new digital key 2.0 allows drivers to access vehicle functions through their smartphones.
